Refund, Cancellation & Virtual Items Policy
1. Scope and relationship to other terms
This Refund, Cancellation & Virtual Items Policy (“Policy”) applies to memberships, subscriptions, virtual currency, passes, boosts, gifts, and other digital products purchased for Celebrate Black Love (“CBL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It forms part of CBL’s Terms of Service. If mandatory law or the rules of the payment platform that processed a transaction provide greater rights, those rights control.
2. General rule: purchases are final
Except where required by applicable law, required by the payment platform that processed the purchase, or expressly approved by CBL under this Policy, all purchases are final and nonrefundable.
· CBL does not provide refunds or credits for unused or partially used membership periods.
· Deleting an account, choosing not to use the service, finding a relationship, dissatisfaction with available profiles, or failing to cancel before renewal does not ordinarily create a refund right.
· Canceling a subscription prevents future renewal charges after cancellation takes effect; it does not ordinarily reverse the current charge.
· No feature, match, date, relationship, or other outcome is guaranteed.
3. Membership cancellation
Members may cancel recurring billing through the same account or platform used to subscribe, subject to the instructions displayed in account settings. Unless applicable law or the payment platform provides otherwise, paid benefits remain available through the end of the then-current paid period. Cancellation must be completed before the renewal is processed to prevent the next charge.
Account deletion is not necessarily subscription cancellation. A member who purchased through Apple or Google must also manage the subscription through that platform.
4. Virtual items and digital purchases
Virtual items include CBL tokens or coins, RankUp, ElevateMe, Incognito passes, virtual gifts, and any similar consumable, time-limited, or account-based digital item. Except where required by law or the applicable payment platform:
· virtual-item purchases are final and nonrefundable;
· virtual items have no cash value, are not legal tender or stored funds, and may not be redeemed for money;
· used, activated, delivered, expired, gifted, or partially used items are not eligible for a refund or replacement credit; and
· virtual items are personal, revocable, nontransferable licenses to use platform features and may not be sold or transferred
outside CBL.
5. Billing errors and exceptional review
CBL will review timely, good-faith requests involving a suspected duplicate charge, an unauthorized transaction, a verified technical failure that prevented delivery of the purchased product, or another circumstance for which law requires a remedy. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. CBL may request an order number, receipt, transaction date, payment channel, account information, and supporting documentation.
Approved refunds ordinarily return to the original payment method. Processing time is controlled in part by the payment processor or financial institution. A refund request should be submitted through support@northwestregisteredagent.com within [14/30] days after the charge unless a longer period is required by law.
6. Apple App Store and Google Play purchases
Apple purchases. Apple controls refund eligibility and processing for purchases billed by Apple. Members must request any refund through Apple’s official refund process. CBL cannot promise, authorize, or accelerate an Apple refund.
Google Play purchases. Eligibility and processing are governed by Google Play’s rules, the transaction circumstances, location, and applicable law. Google may handle a request directly; in some cases CBL may be able to review or process an eligible developer-handled request. Members should begin with the Google Play receipt or official refund workflow.
A payment platform’s decision and mandatory rules apply to transactions it processed. CBL will not issue a second refund for a transaction already refunded by a platform, bank, or card issuer.
7. United States—state and other mandatory rights
The general no-refund rule does not limit a nonwaivable right under federal, state, or local law. Residents of certain states may have a statutory right to cancel a dating-service contract within a specified period 3 business days), receive a refund in specified circumstances, or obtain relief following death or a qualifying disability. The required notice, method, deadline, documentation, and refund calculation vary by jurisdiction.
State-law notice. If the law of your state gives you a cancellation or refund right, CBL will honor that right after confirming eligibility. Send the request promptly to support@northwestregisteredagent.com with your state of residence, purchase date, order number, and the basis for the request. Nothing in this Policy waives rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
8. Death or qualifying disability
Where applicable law requires it, a member’s estate or authorized representative may request cancellation and the legally required refund following the member’s death. Where applicable law provides a remedy when a qualifying disability prevents use of the service, the member or authorized representative may request review. CBL may require legally sufficient proof, authority to act, and information needed to calculate any required refund. CBL will not request medical information beyond what is reasonably necessary for the review.
9. EU/EEA and United Kingdom rights
Consumers in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom may have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right for certain distance contracts, subject to applicable exceptions and rules for services or digital content that begin immediately at the consumer’s express request. Where the consumer validly asks CBL to begin service during the withdrawal period, applicable law may permit a proportionate charge for service supplied before withdrawal. For digital content, the withdrawal right may be lost after supply begins only where all legally required express consent, acknowledgment, and confirmation steps have been completed.
To exercise a qualifying withdrawal right, send an unequivocal statement to support@northwestregisteredagent.com before the deadline, identifying the account and purchase. CBL will provide any refund required by law using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. App-store purchases remain subject to the applicable store process.
10. Switzerland and other countries
Swiss law does not generally provide a universal cooling-off period for ordinary online purchases. Nevertheless, mandatory Swiss consumer rights, payment-platform requirements, and any express right CBL offers at checkout will apply. In every other country, CBL’s general no-refund rule applies only to the extent permitted by local law. Mandatory cancellation, conformity, refund, or remedy rights prevail over this Policy.
11. Suspended or terminated accounts
If CBL suspends or terminates an account for a violation of the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, fraud controls, or safety requirements, unused time and virtual items are generally not refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. This section does not limit a remedy for an incorrect charge or a service CBL was legally required but failed to provide.
12. Chargebacks
Members should contact CBL or the applicable payment platform first so the matter can be investigated. CBL may suspend access while a chargeback or payment dispute is pending and may provide relevant transaction and acceptance records to the processor. Nothing in this section limits a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge.
13. Changes and contact
CBL may update this Policy prospectively. Material changes will be communicated as required by law and will not eliminate rights that already accrued. Questions and requests may be sent to support@northwestregisteredagent.com, with legal notices sent to 30 N Gould St Ste N Sheridan, WY, 82801, USA
